PLATINEA as a collaborative model in the fight against antimicrobial resistance
BBCStoryWorks has produced a short documentary for Viatris on the topic of antimicrobial resistance. The film is based on Platinea as an example of a unique collaboration between sectors to improve use and access to antibiotics. The main message is the power of bringing together the key actors, i.e. healthcare, academia, authorities and industry, towards a common goal - to preserve the value of vital antibiotics. The film is a follow-up to "Race against resistance: The Life And Death Struggle To Save Antibiotics" which BBCStoryWork produced for the AMR Action Fund, Pfizer, Shionogi and MSD with over 500,000 views.
